Our NGO helps the surrounding people to be empowered

CHAMP Social Service Society is a nonprofit community based organization works for the empowerment of women and children from 2016. CHAMP Social Service Society aspires to improve the living conditions of the poor and marginalized people by promoting various community initiatives, participatory approach and sensitization programs. The organization promotes and follows the child protection policies and child rights guidelines in dealing with children issues and programs. The organization worked at Pakkiripalayam in Tiruvannamalai district and has an adequate experience with SC / backward and Gypsy community intervention. Women self Help group, and free evening tuition center have been taken as base for initial intervention and now the organization has actively involved in quality education initiatives and empowering single women headed …

Women's Day Celebration

International Women’s Day was celebrated in a grand manner highlighting the theme “Inspire Inclusion” To commemorate this day we had special invitees on this occasion. Many advertisers had come to advertise about our society programme. There by we are glad to make a move to a further progress of the society.

Programs

Rexine Bags Visit

1. In 6th AGBM a suggestion was given to stitch non-woven bag in the society. On 28th October 2022 we collected the details from the nearby places - Thirupathur, Thiruvannmalai, Vettavalam and some other areas. We got information from Mr. Prabhakaran who run a small scale industry at Thirupathur. Later, he invited us to come his place to gather the information of stitching method, and he gave a practice to stitch some pieces of non-woven bag also we got some sample bags to stitch. 2. On 9th November 2022 we have send the big shopper bag to Sr. Paulin Mary (General Coordinator, & Executive Member) and Sr. Josephine Annal Amali (Provincial & Vice – President) by post. It was stitched by us Sr. Paulin Mary asked us to gather the information about printing process too. 3. Accordingly, 15th November 2022 we met Mr. Prabakaran for the printing work. On the same day with the help of his support we gave the details of our society to start a frame work for printing and paid initial amount Rs.1600/- 4. On 23rd November 2022 the entrepreneur Mr. Prabakaran came to our society gave a training of cutting the fabrics, measuring, stitching the non-woven fabrics. Finally, he taught us how to print and clean the frame work. 5. On 24th November 2022 the stitched pattern was printed and send to Sr. Josephine Annal Amali (Vice – President) & Sr. Paulin Mary (Executive Member) to their notice.
